Sako’s TRG 22A1 offers extreme long-range precision in a robust package. One of the TRG 22A1’s more notable features is its stock. It utilizes a skeletonized design and can be folded to provide a more convenient storage and transportation option. The stock can be finely tuned to the user’s preferred length of pull and cheek height with the push of a button, and a Picatinny rail on the underside can be used with a monopod or the supplied polymer grip. In terms of customization, the TRG 22A1 features top-mounted Picatinny rails on the receiver and forend, which provide plenty of rail space for an optic of choice, as well as clip-on night vision and thermal devices. The forend is also outfitted with multiple M-LOK cut-outs for use with a bipod, and help reduces weight. Other features of the TRG 22A1 include an ergonomically placed ambidextrous safety mechanism that’s positioned in the front of the trigger guard, allowing the operator to manipulate the safety with their index finger. In addition, the TRG 22A1’s trigger is fully adjustable, and the distance of the trigger blade can be modified as well.
