This Browning X-Bolt LR McMillan 308 Package comes ready to shoot with a Steiner Ranger 4S 4-16x44 4A IR Scope Mounted with Burris ZEE Rings 30mm High on a Recknagel Browning X-Bolt Picatinny Rail.

Accuracy is another name for this rifle. This X-Bolt is no ordinary X-Bolt, and it is not for the ordinary hunter. Putting the proven X-Bolt action into a McMillan Game Scout stock offers the long range shooter a platform so solid you now can concentrate on ammo and your mind to get the maximum accuracy. The stock is fitted with two quick detach (QD) cups for a sling, plus it has a single front swivel just for a bipod (not included). 

Game Scout Stock. This exceptional stock features a medium sized forend with straight comb butt stock. It offers a smooth transition for shooters used to a tactical stock that need a compact hunting stock.Texture panels on the forend and pistol grip offer a great feel. It also features a comfortable vertical pistol grip with thumbshelf. It is it is finished off with a dip with the exceptional A-TACS AU (Arid/Urban) camouflage. 

Steiner Ranger 4S 4-16x44 4A IR

S stands for Short, but not on features.
 
The Ranger 4 series is well recognized in the market as Steiner’s entry-level line of hunting riflescopes, characterized with a 4x zoom factor. The Ranger 4S series represents an expansion of this line, with the 4-16×44. The “S” in its name signifies ‘Short,’ a designation that is quite fitting as the model is around 25% shorter than most of its competitors (with a similar magnification range and lens diameter), measuring just 27.8 cm in length. In addition, the scope is notably lightweight at only 518 grams.
 
The compact design of this riflescope offers significant advantages. Even with an attachment mounted on the 4S, the overall setup remains only slightly shorter than that of competitive devices without any attachments.  The combination of magnification range, lightweight design, and compact size make these riflescopes ideal for mountain hunting, where minimizing the load you carry is crucial.
