At only 2.6 kg in weight, Lupo Alpha is the best in class among ultralight rifles with a metal chassis structure.
The unique trait of this rifle is the design, which made it possible to achieve an extraordinary result in terms of weight reduction compared to the standard Lupo: – 500 g approx.
The incredible lightness of the firearm is due to its particular design, thanks to which both the metal components (receiver, upper receiver and barrel) and the polymer components (stock and forend) have been lightened. The use of special high-strength technopolymers makes it possible to reduce the weight of the components, without sacrificing stability and strength.
The barrel is tapered and with a lightened external profile: where the barrel meets the upper receiver it has a diameter of 26 mm reducing to 15.5 mm at the muzzle. The perfect coupling between lightweight aluminum alloy chassis and rigid steel barrel-action ensures ballistic excellence at every shot.
Crio free floating barrel. Cryogenic technology increases barrel life, improves heat resistance, reduces impact of overheating and regulates the vibratory rate of the metal, for constant performance. Adjustable from 650 g to 1650 g (6.4 N to 16.2 N), it is sharp and clean; the reduced trigger load maximises shooting accuracy.
