Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) Coating: Protects agains wear and corrosion, with a striking black finish. The DLC-finish, already successfully applied to the DT11 and many Beretta pistol components, provides the receiver, the trigger group, the top lever and safety with superior corrosion and wear resistance, as well as maximum reduction from frictions.

Eye-catching design
The cutting-edge lines of the receiver have been reduced to the essential and enriched by a revolutionary anti-glare texture. These laser-engraved micro pyramids were developed to break the light, while the absence of shoulders and the lower top lever allow an enhanced view of the target.
The lines of the stock blend seamlessly into the design of the contemporary receiver, following its fluid lines and providing major visibility on clays with lateral trajectories.
Steelium® Pro X barrels: over and beyond
The SL2 stands out as the first shotgun to feature the advanced Steelium® Pro X barrels, offering unprecedented performance. This new technology has been developed with Beretta professional shooters, featuring an elongated choke fitting compared to the DT11 Steelium® Pro profile for optimised shot patterns and superior ballistic performance.

Engineered for success
As for the most victorious shotgun ever, the legendary DT11, the trigger group is detachable and quickly replaceable, with leaf springs that ensure a clean and even trigger pull at all times. As for any PB shotgun, the barrel surface is carefully polished by the hands of the Pietro Beretta Italian gunsmiths to get to a flawless mirror finish. The stunning grade 4 walnut wood is masterfully crafted to create made-to-measure stock and fore-end, finely checkered by hand for a perfect grip.

Competition Performance The SL2 features a Boss-type locking system, with a locking lug positioned at hinge-pin height and the monobloc engaging in the lower section of the action frame to ensure strength and precision. The detachable trigger group, equipped with leaf springs, delivers a crisp and consistent trigger pull. Developed together with Beretta professional shooters, the Steelium® Pro X barrels feature an advanced internal profile designed to optimise shot patterns and ballistic performance. The external barrel surfaces are also hand-polished by Pietro Beretta master gunsmiths to achieve a flawless mirror finish.
Essential Geometries The sharp lines of the SL2 reduce the action to its purest form, removing the shoulders and lowering the top lever to widen the shooter’s field of view. The surface features an anti-glare texture made up of laser-engraved micro-pyramids, designed to break up light and minimise reflections. The stock flows seamlessly into the action, providing a clearer view of clays, including those following lateral trajectories.
Tailored to the Shooter Available in Trap, Skeet, Sporting and DTL configurations, the SL2 is built around the shooter’s measurements and shooting style. The stock and forend are crafted from selected grade 4 walnut, shaped to measure and finely hand-checkered to ensure a stable, natural grip. Different barrel lengths, rib configurations and stock options make it possible to achieve a precise, balanced setup perfectly adapted to each discipline.
